Our History
Hopewell Baptist Church of Denison has been a cornerstone of the community for over 150 years. Our church has a rich history of serving the people of Denison and spreading the message of hope and faith. We have grown from a small group of believers to a vibrant congregation dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others.

Our Statement
of Faith
At Hopewell, we worship and serve the one true God, who exists in three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

God the Father – Our Creator and Sustainer, whose love and wisdom guide all of creation.

God the Son, Jesus Christ – Our Savior, who came to redeem us, teach us, and show us the fullness of God’s love through His life, death, and resurrection.

We believe that the Triune God is one in essence, yet distinct in personhood, and that through Him, we are called to a life of worship, obedience, and love. Our faith is rooted in this divine relationship, shaping how we live, serve, and interact with the world around us.
